Adam Lee Reyna Obituary- Death, Texas: Family Mourns Death

A fatal crash has claimed the life of 26-year-old Adam Lee Reyna of Mission, leaving his family and loved ones devastated by the sudden loss.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 351 and County Road 504.

Investigators reported that a semi-truck driven by 68-year-old Miguel Angel Casanova was traveling westbound on County Road 504 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Reyna’s pickup truck. The force of the impact caused the pickup to catch fire and become fully engulfed.

Reyna was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the crash. Authorities confirmed that Casanova sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. He was later arrested after officials determined he was under the influence of medication at the time of the crash. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and is being held in custody on bond.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, including all contributing factors.
