Ernest Greeley Obituary- Death, Rochester NY, Motorcycle Crash: Community Mourns Tragic Death

The city of Rochester is mourning the tragic loss of Ernest Greeley, also known as “Jr.,” who died following a fatal motorcycle crash on the city’s north side. The incident has left his family devastated and the local community in shock.

According to Rochester Police, the collision occurred on Wednesday evening at approximately 8:05 p.m. at the intersection of Ridgeway Avenue and Minder Street, an area known for regular evening traffic. Emergency responders arrived quickly and found Greeley seriously injured near his motorcycle. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the occupants of the other vehicle involved were not injured. While that brings some relief, it does little to ease the grief felt by those who knew Greeley.

Following the crash, police secured the area and temporarily closed portions of Ridgeway Avenue and Minder Street as investigators worked through the night.
