According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (Canfield Post), troopers responded around 9 p.m. to McGuffey Road, just west of State Line Road, after reports of a serious crash involving a vehicle that had left the roadway. Investigators said the eastbound vehicle drifted off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox, overturned, then hit a culvert before colliding with a telephone pole.

Emergency responders arrived to find the vehicle heavily damaged near the utility pole. A witness video reportedly showed the wreckage as first responders worked at the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance.
