Micah Lee Thomas, 23, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, and is remembered with love by his family and friends. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Born on April 2, 2003, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Micah was the son of Jennifer (Lee) Thomas and William Blue Thomas. He was raised in Aiken, South Carolina, where he developed a gentle personality and a strong love for spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed video calls with loved ones, including time with his baby nephew, Everett.

Micah found joy in the outdoors, whether in the mountains, at the beach, or in the woods. He had a passion for fishing, reading mystery novels, and enjoying Chinese food while watching movies and anime with his brothers. Known for his love of animals, Micah had a kindhearted nature that connected easily with pets and wildlife alike. He also enjoyed sports growing up, particularly basketball and football, and expressed creativity through drawing and painting. His quiet sense of humor continues to be remembered through shared memories.

At the time of his passing, Micah lived in Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked as a landscaper.

He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Lee Thomas and William Blue Thomas; his brothers Issac Blue Thomas, Seth Edward Thomas, and Elijah William (Kathryn) Thomas; his paternal grandparents William George and Betty Ann Thomas; his nephew Everett; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins including Whitney (Michael) Smith, Carrie (Corey) Mullins, David (Vicky) Thomas, and cousins Michael, Summer Smith, Grady, Tate, and Levi Mullins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde Edward and Kay Nottingham Lee, and his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Huckabee.

A private interment will take place at Bethany Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Shellhouse Funeral Home in Aiken, South Carolina, followed by a reception for family and friends at Park Avenue Oyster Bar and Grill from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
